Jackson Elkins is a Silver Spring local in his second year as Technical Director of Blake Stage Company. He has worked both in and adjacent to the theatre industry for as long as he can remember - as an actor, carpenter, props designer, lighting designer and tech, painter, set designer, costumer/sewist,  gigging musician, and more. He studied scenic carpentry under Peter Marengo of Norton Projects. He is currently in his fourth year as Stage Manager and fifth year as violist for the Prince George’s Philharmonic Orchestra. Past credits include National Christmas Tree Lighting 2022 (Carpenter, on-site Scenic Painter), The Gershwin Prize 2023 (Carpenter, on-site Scenic Painter), Wheaton Arts Parade Path of Pyramids (Carpenter), Into the Woods (Pit Violist, McLean School), The Sound of Music (Pit Violist, McLean School), and The Wizard of Oz (Lighting Designer, Mater Amoris).
